Corinne Wasmuht’s work creates a unique kind of illusory space, both abstract and fixed in recognisable form, yet somehow almost tangible. Repeated shapes and colours generate a sense of infinitely multiplying mirrored images, reflecting the vastness of contemporary networked culture and its never-ending, insatiable yearning for images and information. Based on an original painting, now part of the Saatchi Gallery collection, this single screenprint, in an edition of 55, is like a cinematic projection, larger than life in dimensions and overwhelming the viewer with the collected data, gathered largely from the internet. Corinne lives and works in Berlin, Germany
