Boris Nzebo was born in Port-Gentil, Gabon in 1979. The artist’s paintings, featured in Pangaea, draw on the surroundings of his home city of Douala in Cameroon. He uses a strong colour palette that evokes the murals and graffiti of street culture found throughout Douala’s suburbs. Traditional African hairstyles feature heavily in many of Nzebo’s works.
